Combining Craniosacral techniques
with an intuitive energy practice provides a unique and dramatic session for the client. Craniosacral therapy (CST)
is a gentle, non-invasive method of evaluating and enhancing the function of the craniosacral system, the environment in which
the brain and spinal cord function. This manual therapy encourages the body's natural healing mechanisms to improve
the operation of the central nervous system. The mind has unique functions, capabilities and responsibilities as does
the body. However, our current lifestyles or past history can sometimes disconnect those 2 vital centers of energy.
By re-aligning what was meant to work together in harmony, we allow the whole system to function at it's intended optimal
level. From
a musculature perspective, a series of techniques with an innate awareness of how to approach each individual
are performed to promote "muscle memory...in reverse". By allowing the body to "work through" the
challenges promoting pain, we encourage the body, muscle and mind to release the issue causing the discomfort. This
effort actively increases the client's awareness to physical imbalances, such as, poor posture, aggravating
daily activities or traumatic events. Noticing these nuances allow the client to begin re-formatting the muscles
to function more effectively as nature intended. Bringing together years of various modalities through
life experiences, I offer the opportunity to work together in a relaxed, spiritual and modern way to approach bodywork.
